Here is a post of the Elephant Trunk in Guilin, in the south of China. I didn’t spend more than a couple of hours in Guilin because I was going to Yangshuo, another place nearby; however, at least I can say that I have been and seen the main icon of the city. Can you see the elephant?
This time I share with you some more pictures of my last trip to a place featuring two peaks with two millennial towers. The best of this trip was being able to enjoy the sunrise light meandering through the hills and give some light to these twin peaks.
Shuangta Shan is a small hill featuring two rock formations in the northeast of China. On the top of these peaks you can see two old towers built more than 900 years ago.
The Red Beach is literally a place dressed up in red. The grass is red and it is located in the northeast of China. In this first trip I did over there, I was able to take some pictures of the red grass that covers the soil and attracts many visitors each year.
Laoshan Mountain or Mount Lao (Shan means mountain) is a the most visited mountain in the east coast of China. Its rocks are shaped by ancient glaciers and it is one of the places that gave birth to Taoism.
