About Jesús Rosas
Thanks for stopping by! I’m Jesús Rosas. I’m a teacher, a freelancer, and a photographer on the side. I offer online courses and I’ve been recently exploring business opportunities. If you have an enterprising curiosity, perhaps we can talk.
I love traveling. I was born in Mexico to journalist parents. I’m single and a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as the LDS Church or Mormon Church (if you want to know more about Mormons check out: www.mormon.org or if you want to take a look at my Mormon profile click here). I went to BYU (Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in the US). I graduated with a B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies and a French Studies minor. I speak Spanish, English and some French and Arabic.
I have traveled to more than a dozen countries; not many if we put them next to the huge list of countries and territories I want to visit, but I’m truly grateful and happy for what I’ve seen and learned in these trips. And hopefully my trips won’t end there.
I’ve worked as a teacher in different levels (from elementary/primary to university). I have taught English, Spanish, World History, Western Philosophy, photography, US Government, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), and more. During my time at BYU, I worked for BYU Independent Study, a prestigious continuing education program in which I helped in the design and edition of online High School courses. I also worked for BYU TV International. I served briefly at the Mexican Consulate in Salt Lake City while going to BYU then worked in a couple of schools. I have lived in Mexico, the US, Jordan, and China.
